 August 31, 2005 H-1B "Lottery" on August 10 Filings It appears that USCIS is completing the "lottery" process on selecting those H-1B petitions that were filed on August 10 that will be included in the fiscal 2006 cap. AILA members report that they have started to receive rejections on petitions that did not make the cap. Note that many of the rejections have been for petitions for which receipts were issued. |
